Man, I never thought i would be considering the purchase of a korean les paul knockoff.after owning an Electra in the 70's (what a horrible guitar.tuners, sound, fit, playability.you name it, the Electra sucked in it). I also don’t like to go all the way down to like Jimmy Page style 8s, but that’s just me. For a Les Paul, it’s so darn meaty already, I don’t think it really needs it. I usually tend to favor slightly heavier gauges when I can. Even among the exalted ranks of sunburst Gibson Les Paul Standards manufactured from 1958-60, there are a handful of guitars that command a special level of reverence.
